Giant Hamburgers? Chicken Drumsticks? AND COLORS ?!?

Yeeeppp, ’tis the name of: Lazy Oaf. This London-based label has also been featured in Nylon’s December issue. Lucky for you, there is a sale! (but it ends in 3 days!) The products are very cartoonish, but definitely worth the price. There are various goodies, such as, sweatshirt dresses, t-shirts, bags, hats, scarves, and jewelry. The designer Gemma Shiel wanted to portray WWF wrestlers from the ’90s and trashy TV shows.

The oversized shirts are perfect gifts for friends! Take a look:

How adorable!!!

There are so many more, but these are just 4 of my favorites.

Warning: Designer Breakout

It has been a while…

Ever hear about RosenMunns? These lovely and whimsical designers, Sydney Rose and Ashley Munns, behind the amazing clothes have tried for six seasons to make an appearance in the fashion world. They’ve taken every opportunity to make themselves known, and they’re finally making their huge debut this spring. They have created a 17-piece collection that is a wild ride with bright colors, transparent fabrics, and weighty pieces. Their collection has been inspired by San Francisco’s Chinatown, and it should be an unimaginable sight.

They’ve been featured in Nylon’s December issue, which is what inspired me to show you all this extensive line!

The duo found their spotlight when they gave actress, Kirsten Dunst, an “I Ate Mary-Kate” T-shirt.

PLEASE check them out! Go to their site and you can download their Lookbook.

Ever think that bunnies can be stylish? Probably not… I bet you’re thinking they’re quite childish, but au contraire, an army of bunny tees have arrived at Forever21. According to Elle Magazine, Fifi Lapin (the designer) is “the world’s most stylish bunny.” And according to me, this is true.

How can you resist purchasing a tee with a BUNNY on it?! The shirts are only $18.50 each at Forever21, so there is no reason for you not to get one! Go on, hoppity hop hop to Forever21 and buy Fifi Lapin‘s stylish bunny tees!

P.S. Happy Martin Luther King Jr. Day!

Nothing Better Than the Old Smell of Retro Vintage…

Although a lot of people don’t really like buying things that are old and worn out, apparel at thrift/vintage stores is magical (according to me at least). If you think about it, vintage clothing contains maybe sophisticated age, other people’s memories, and the possibility of new memories. You would be wearing a piece of clothing literally FILLED with memories! Here are some examples of lovely vintage goodies:

Dress from the 50s

Skirt from the 50s

Skirt from the 70s

Dress from the 80s

Reese Witherspoon in Christian Dior from the 50s

Vintage Knit Top

Vintage Chanel

Vintage Leather Bag

As you can see, there are many, many fabulous things to buy at thrift & vintage stores! For me, I find it fascinating that you can wear a piece of clothing or accessory that could be older that you. In one of my recent posts about the returning style of the 40s, I uploaded a variety of things that you should definitely check out! These things could definitely inspire you to stop by vintage stores. Some vintage/thrift stores to check out include Metropolis, Housing Works, Beacon’s Closet, Screaming Mimi’s, Buffalo Exchange, Cure Thrift Shop, Inven.tory, Amarcord and tons of others! Never say you’ll never go into what I call an “oldie” store, because you’ll never know what you’ll end up finding 🙂

Time to Join the Marching Band?

I realized the other day that I have no idea why marching band jackets are a brand new trend. I have to say though, the cute little details are pretty amazing. Although I personally don’t really like the jackets, there are some jackets that I have to say are really great.

Overall, Michael Jackson looked the greatest in this type of jacket.

It wouldn’t be a bad idea to try this type of jacket nonetheless! You can definitely find these types of jackets at Topshop.

If only stores carried Marching Band Jackets similar to Michael Jackson’s… So tell me, would you want to try this trend?
